Welcome
General Information
Baptism: We believe that baptism should have a place of importance in the lives of all believers. We believe that baptisms should be done at an age of accountability and that it is an outward expression of a regenerate spirit. Baptisms at CSD are conducted by way of immersion and are held throughout the year. We communicate dates and times via the bulletin.
Communion: In the Bible, Jesus exhorts all believers to partake of communion as an important reminder of His redemptive work on the Cross. We observe communion on the first Wednesday of every month.
Counseling: We believe that counseling plays an important part in molding a person into the body of Christ. The type of counseling provided by the pastoral staff at CSD is biblical counseling that is based on God’s Word alone. The pastors are not professional psychiatrists or professional psychologists. We believe that, “All Scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Contact the main office during normal business hours for an appointment or more information.
Funerals: The facility is available free of charge to people who consider themselves members of CSD. If you would like one of our pastors to perform the funeral service or memorial service please contact the main office during business hours.
Giving: “So let each give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 4:7) At the back of the Sanctuary you will see wooden agape boxes. They are there for your tithes, offerings, prayer requests, and praise reports.
Weddings: Weddings performed by pastors at CSD require a minimum of six weeks of premarital counseling. To make arrangements contact the main office during business hours.
