2 Corinthians 6:1-10, The Minister’s Ministry

May 8, 2013

We continue in our verse by verse teaching through the book of 2 Corinthians on Wednesday nights with Pastor Gino Geraci.

Paul now asks the Corinthians to consider; to examine his life and ministry.  He then asks the saints at Corinth to enlarge their hearts and make room for him.  In this chapter and the next Paul calls on the saints to conduct an investigation, an examination and then calls for separation (6:14-7:1) and eventually an appeal for reconciliation (7:2-16).

  • Careful Consideration (vv.1-2)
  • Concern for Consistency (vv.3-5)
  • Christlike Character (vv.6-7)
  • Christlike Contradictions (vv.8-10)
