His time and experience as a pastor (Calvary – South Denver) has demonstrated his commitment to the Christian community in the Denver area. He also has a tremendous perspective and ability to help listeners with their Bible questions, even those dealing with pain and suffering. He was the first pastor on the scene at the Columbine tragedy. He was also invited by Franklin Graham to immediately tour the site at Ground Zero following 9-11 and has served in various capacities for local law enforcement agencies as their chaplain.
His ability to relate as a talk host goes beyond just Bible theology, as he is able to relate on a number of topics from current events, family, world travel (he has ministered throughout Central & South America, Europe, Africa, India and the Middle East), to even his hobbies like cars, and rock & coin collecting.
