The purpose of the Men’s Ministry at Calvary South Denver, is to encourage men to draw into a deeper, fuller relationship with the Lord by:
- Equipping men through the study of the Word of God
- Application of Scriptural principles in obedience to the Lord
- Building relationships through discipleship, fellowship, and support
- Encouraging men to live in such a way that they may bring glory to God by making a godly impact in their homes, workplaces, community, and church
Men’s Bible Studies
Begin the new year with a fuller understanding of the blessings available through our new life in Christ. Hear how Paul described to a church of new believers in the financial center of the East the vast wealth they had in Christ. We’ll explore Paul’s application of these resources to the walk of the church and how this should influence our lives today.
Tuesday Morning Men’s Bible Study 6:30 – 8:00 am - The Sermon on The Mount
Thursday Morning Men’s Bible Study 6:00 – 7:30 am (on hold at the present time)
Men’s Prayer Breakfast – Second Saturday 8:00 am – 10:30 am
The Men’s Ministry Prayer Breakfast occurs the second Saturday of every month. All men of CCSD are welcome to attend. It is the only regular gathering and meeting place for all the men of the church. We always offer a delicious breakfast, fellowship, worship, teaching pertinent to Christian men and time for prayer and fellowship afterward. This meeting is a great way for men to meet other men in the church, to find brothers to fellowship with, to seek encouragement and to pray together.
The cost is $5 to cover the cost of the breakfast and believe me it is a value!
Men’s Prayer Group
The Men’s Prayer Group meets in prayer every Saturday Morning at 7:00 am to pray for the Church, its Pastors, ministry leaders and ministries as well as other pressing needs. The strength of a church can be measured by its fervency of prayer. Come join the prayer group.
