Sam & Erica Park have been married for 16 years and have 2 children, Kharis age 9 and Jesse age 8. They met at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa while Sam was leading a Christian outreach band, “Paid In Full” and leading worship for the College & Career ministry at CC Costa Mesa. They began ministering together in various areas, including leading the “Afterglow” services for Pastor Chuck Smith after the Sunday and Thursday evening services which they led for a year. Erica was on staff full time at “The Word For Today”.
Shortly after getting married, they moved to San Francisco to help start Calvary Chapel of San Francisco. After a season of serving as the worship leader at CC San Francisco, they felt the call to move to San Jose to lead worship at Calvary Chapel San Jose with Pastor Don McClure. Sam was on staff as the worship pastor for 5 years before moving on to start Calvary Chapel of Palo Alto. He and Erica served there for 3 ½ years before moving back to Southern California and then ultimately to Colorado.
