Isaac Jorgensen
Director, Worship & Meno
Isaac Jorgensen oversees the worship ministries and pastors the young adult ministry Meno. The Lord brought Isaac and his wife Kajsa to Calvary South Denver in February of 2008. Their first child, Miles, was born near the end of the year.
“I grew up in the church and apparently made a decision for Christ when I was 6. I don’t have much memory of it but I can tell you that my whole life the Lord has chased me down and had to break me over and over to show me my need for His grace. I remember many years ago having the fear of the Lord come on me and realizing that it didn’t matter if everyone in my life thought I knew God if He would say otherwise. Praise the Lord for paying our debts and wanting us to be with Him!”
After graduating high school, Isaac spent some time on staff at New Life E. Free Church in Aurora helping with student ministries. Isaac spent 10 years writing and recording music as one of the front-men for a band called Foolish Things. Their evangelistically-driven tours brought them all over the United States preaching the gospel and leading worship in hundreds of churches.
“We’re so hungry to see God move in great ways here. If we let the Holy Spirit be in charge, teach and obey His Word and learn to pray, it will be impossible for the Lord to not move powerfully among us! We MUST take hold of that for which Christ has taken hold of us and then go take His gospel into the world!”
