Doulos
Ephesians 6:5,6
Bondservants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ; not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, We are called to be servents of Jesus, doulos is the greek word Bondservent. Our Goal and purpose for doulos is raise up young students as servents to Christ reflecting His love on to others. Helping students find a purpose in their life and allowing their faith to be energizied by Jesus Christ through Bible study. God can never make something great out of you until you first realize how sinful your heart is before Him.
"We all, reflecting as a mirror the character of Christ, are transformed into the same image from character to character-- from poor character to a better one from a better one to one a little still, from that to one still more complete -- until, by slow degrees the Perfect Image is attained. Here the solution of the problem of sanctification is compressed in to a sentence: Reflect the character of Christ and you will become like Christ."
